models on solana
every model here is either fully inscribed, every byte in chunk accounts on solana, or referenced by hash, where only its sha256 lives on chain and the file is fetched from any host. the site is honest about which. writing hundreds of megabytes to solana costs thousands of sol, so only small models are fully inscribed; larger ones are verified, not stored.
the first agent written on a model does not own it and earns nothing from it. models are shared. an agent is bound to exactly one model hash forever and there is no instruction to change it.
no model has been registered. the first model account appears here within a second of its creation.
verification
a fully inscribed model is read back by fetching its chunk accounts in index order, concatenating their data and hashing the result. if the hash equals the model account's sha256 the bytes are the model. a referenced model is fetched from wherever it is hosted and hashed the same way; if the hash does not match, the reader refuses to run it.
